Admission and Application Requirements
For undergraduate departments:
- As a prospective Bachelor's student, you must have a higher secondary diploma corresponding to Dutch norms. Students must be eligible for further education through a diploma of secondary education / high school diploma with good performance in order to be admitted to Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
- A senior high school diploma/GCE or equivalent, such as the British GCE A-levels or GCSE grades A, B, or C, is required for students from other countries. At least six exam subjects are required. 4 GCSE courses with grades A*, A, B, or C and 2 GCE subjects at A/S Level (no specific grade necessary) are required for examinee subjects. A/S Level is an abbreviation for advanced subsidiary level (formerly advanced supplementary level). Mathematics must be studied at the GCE level and be part of the examinee's subjects.
- International students who did not complete their secondary school in English must have an IELTS 6.0 (academic) or TOEFL 550 score.
