Istanbul Kultur University started its education activities in higher education with 157 students and 32 academic staff in 1997−1998 academic year. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Education continue their activities in the Basın Ekspres Campus, which was opened in the 2018-2019 academic year. The Basın Ekspres Campus, designed by the Faculty of Architecture of Istanbul Kultur University, draws attention as a concrete indicator of IKU's principle of using resources and certifies its success with the award it received. In addition to its safety and comfort priority design, İKÜ Basın Ekspres Campus supports the academic and social lives of students with niches where they can do their work or spend time. Incirli Campus, where IKU Vocational School meets with its students, has 6 thousand 326 square meters of indoor and 1,255 square meters of open space. IKU İncirli Campus, which is easily accessible by all public transportation vehicles, is equipped with infrastructure facilities that enable the realization of practical training in order to provide vocational qualifications for vocational school students. IKU İncirli Campus, located in the center of the city, helps students to easily access all scientific, artistic and social activities.
