Seneca College in Canada, which opened its doors in 1967, started its education life in a renovated factory, the area became Seneca's first campus a year later and became known as the Newnham Campus. In the same year, the Buttonville Campus for Aviation Programs was also activated and in 1971 the King Campus started training within Seneca. The York campuses were opened in 1999 and the Markham campuses in 2005. Apart from these, education continues at small campuses such as Newmarket, Scarborough, Yorkgate and Vaughan.
Seneca College draws attention with the mechatronics project it carries out within the school. With the first Mechatronics Simulation and Demonstration Center of Ontario, established in partnership with Siemens Canada, they are working to draw attention to the technical deficiencies in the production network in Canada and to eliminate these deficiencies.

Admission and Application Requirements
For Undergraduate Departments:
- High school transcript and graduation certificate-Both in your local language and English (if you apply before graduating from high school, it is sufficient to submit your transcript in English as well)
- Purpose/Motivation letter
- Exam result showing your international level of English - IELTS must have a minimum score of 6.5 (Exam result should not exceed 2 years) / TOEFL must have a minimum score of 86 (Minimum 20 points from each section, Exam result must not exceed 2 years)
For Post Graduate Departments:
- GPA of minimum 2.5 out of 4.0
- University transcript and graduation certificate-Both in your local language and English (if you apply before graduating from university, it is sufficient to submit your transcript in English as well)

Accommodation & Social Life at Seneca College
Seneca College has different educational and social life areas with campuses spread over the Greater Toronto Area. With the student services offered within the school, it is aimed to meet every need of international students. It can provide support with its consultancy office, career office, health center, insurance transactions, libraries, mentor programs and offices where you can apply for work/study permit documents. In addition, in some campuses, Seneca buses operate on weekdays to provide transportation to the campus.
Seneca College has different living costs for its different campuses. It is appropriate to allocate an average of 600 CAD per month for social life. Living costs vary slightly depending on where you live in Canada.
Seneca College offers its students accommodation at various campuses. The annual fee for renting a room in a very comfortable student accommodation is around CAD 8,000 – 12,000.
Apart from student dormitories, there are also homestay and house rental options. Appropriate guidance can be made according to the wishes of the students.
