Why University of Canada West?
Quality teaching is at the core of UCW's principles. The announcement of the Center of Excellence in Teaching proves this situation. CTE will work with academic staff to support their knowledge, skills and expertise with creativity, innovative and research-based educational and technological approaches.
University Canada West professors have years of industry experience as well as respected academics. By transferring their own experiences to their classes, they instill in their students the knowledge and trends they need to be successful in the modern and global business world.
The quality of UCW's programs and teaching is accredited by many organizations. These include the Education Quality Assurance designation, the ACBSP Global Business Accreditation for MBA and BCom degree programs, and the NCMA National Accreditation by CIM Chartered Managers Canada.
UCW is also recognized by the Canadian Bureau for International Education, an association of educational institutions concerned with the internationalization of education programs, student services, and communities.
Drawing on the experience of different institutes is an action encouraged at UCW. Thanks to the university, which is a member of the BC Transfer System, hundreds of credit transfer opportunities with other institutes are available to students.
